Would you wear uniform to school?

In Japan they have been wearing uniforms forever. It starts at the pre-school level with children all wearing (for example) the same yellow hats. This practice tends to disappear briefly at the university level, but then you see employees at almost any business wearing some sort of uniform. Men's business attire has become a little more relaxed in that it is not always a dark suit and white shirt. Professional women wear expensive dark coloured suits. School girls dress similarly to the boys in dark colours, but currently there is usually a lot of leg showing even in winter.
